How To Maintain Your Salon Blow Dry

We all love the fresh, bouncy feeling of a professional blow dry. But, how do we make it last as long as possible?

Avoid touching your hair. As tempting as it is to run your hands through your luscious locks after a blow dry, try to resist as this spreads natural oil through the hair causing it to appear flat and oily. Instead, use a dry spray (we recommend Redken Pillow Proof) to spray into your root to keep oil at bay and leave your hair feeling as fresh as possible.

Sleeping…. A good quality pillow case will prevent your hair from frizzing. Consider satin, the smooth fabric creates less friction. Alternatively, wrapping your hair in a silk scarf will be just as effective.

Avoid moisture. Before showering, twist your hair and clip it up loosely before covering with a shower cap.
